Find top artist, track, playlist, and user matches for a query. Returns basic identity and display data in source order, without enriched metrics. Types filter the mixed candidate results after retrieval, so fewer items than the limit may be returned, including none. Generated mixes and unsupported entity types are excluded. There is no pagination, total count, or exhaustive per-type search. Regional context is best effort and may differ when a fallback connection is used. Use playlist search for filtering stored playlist data and keyword search for stored keyword research.
